I will overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
